This is why protesting is so depressing. You actually get in the room, a chance to confront the leaders of the free world and speak truth to power, and all of a sudden you're just someone's mom with a bad haircut and a glo-in-the-dark bumper sticker for a t-shirt, yelling something that no one can understand while sharply dressed white men chuckle behind hand-muffled microphones and everything goes back to normal.
When, I ask you, WHEN will we get the protest we deserve? Where is our communal Frank Slade?
